Which photos should you send?
The pet’s pose is copied from the photo you choose, and pets are made in one piece. Start with the photograph that shows the position you want to remember. A clear view of the face and body helps you choose a pose, rather than relying only on a close-up that does not show it.

For people, the default Style option is “Bobblehead,” with a head that nods when tapped. For a memorial piece with a fixed head, choose “Standard figure” under Style at the same price. Pets never have bobbleheads. If the figure includes a friend, make sure they agree to having their figure made.
Timing and delivery for a memorial gift

For clay figures, we send photos of the sculpted head, usually within 3–4 days of receiving the photo. Once the head is right, the hair and body take about 8–12 days, and we send photos of the finished figure before shipping. If you want to acknowledge a loss immediately, send a note now rather than relying on the keepsake to arrive in time.
