Cap, gown and the graduate, with a brick frame holding the photo from the day itself.
Made for
Graduation and end-of-term. Parents and grandparents who want the day on a shelf rather than in a folder. PhD vivas, nursing quals, apprenticeships finished — any finish line worth marking.
What it is made of
A small number of broad, smooth ABS-like building pieces with clean seams, and facial details printed rather than stickered. Brick figures are built to one display size — the scale is set by the parts, so there is nothing to choose.
How it works
Add your photo on this page, or check out first and email it to hello@voxelpals.com. We send you a digital proof to approve — nothing is built until you say yes, and if you change your mind before approving, you get every penny back. Free worldwide shipping with no minimum spend; most US orders arrive 20–25 days after we have your photo.
Full specifications
What to send
One clear, well-lit photo, taken straight on, with the face unobscured. A full-length shot helps us get the outfit and posture right. Phone photos are fine.
How it arrives
Figure only, packed to survive the post. Add premium gift packaging if it is going straight to someone.
Worth knowing
This is a hand-built, stylised interpretation of your photo — not a scan and not a portrait replica. The likeness comes from hair, outfit, colours and pose. You see the proof before anything is made, so there are no surprises. Prices include import duties for the US, and VAT and import duties for Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. For other countries, import duties and taxes are handled by our shipping partner.

Size & display

Need a particular size? Ask us to confirm the height, width and depth of your complete design before ordering.

Include the base, frame or props when checking your display space. Product images are not a size guide.

Ask about this design
Can I get it unassembled and build it myself?

Yes. We can send your figure as loose bricks with step-by-step building instructions. Just add a note when you order, or tell us in reply to your order confirmation email.

Made from your photo

What we pay attention to.

01

Cap, gown and the colours of the day

Gown colour, the stole or sash across it, and the angle of the cap. Send the photo from the ceremony and tell us what the school colours were.

02

Photos from a day that already happened

Ceremony photos are often shot from a distance. If the face lands small in the frame, we will ask for a closer one at the proof stage.

03

Brick gown, printed photo

The gown is built from broad pieces in your colour with the cap on top, and the photo from the day is printed small and framed on the same base.
