Short answer: VoxelPals makes family figurines of three, four, five or six people from your photos, in hand-sculpted 3D polymer clay or in brick, and several designs include a dog or cat. Send one clear photo of each person and each pet; separate photos are fine. On the US store, 3D families start at $229 for three people, $294 for four and $424 for six, and brick families at $184 for three, $234 for four and $284 for five with a photo frame. For five people in 3D, or more than six in either style, contact us for a quote.
Family options without pets
3D, hand-sculpted in polymer clay
- Custom Family Figurines: choose two, three, four or six people. $164 for two, $229 for three, $294 for four and $424 for six, at 10 cm.
- 3D Crew: four figures, each sculpted and hand-painted, balanced together on one polished base, from $294.
3D families also come in 14 and 18 cm, which cost more, and you can choose bobblehead or standard figure at the same price. For five people in 3D, send us a custom request and we will quote it.
Brick
- The Trio — Classic: three people on one shared base, $184.
- Family Brick Figures: three, four or six people, $184, $234 or $329.
- Your Family + Frame: four, five or six people with a brick frame of the original photo standing alongside, $239, $284 or $334. The frame is included at every size.
Prices are for the figure only on the US store. In other countries, prices are shown in local currency where we offer it.
Adding a dog or cat
- 3D Crew: its four figures can be people or pets, for example three people and the family dog.
- You & Your Pet (3D): one person and their pet on one base, from $149.
- Mini You + Pet (brick): you and your cat or dog, $129.
- Pet Lover Brick Figures: one person and a pet for $129, or two people and a pet for $179.
- The Duo + Pet (brick): two people and their pet, $179.
The Family Brick Figures set is people only. For a bigger group with a pet, or for a second pet, ask us before ordering and we will quote it. Dogs and cats are the most common; for other animals, ask us first.
In 3D, pets are not made as bobbleheads. A 3D pet is made in one piece and copies the pose in the photo you choose, so pick the photo whose pose you want to keep. If you would like a different pose, tell us after you order and we will confirm it with you before we start.
How many photos to send
- One clear photo of each person's face, and one of each pet. They do not have to be from the same day.
- For a pet, a straight-on photo of the face plus a side view that shows the coat colours and markings.
- Full-length photos for any outfits you want matched.
- A note listing everyone from left to right, with ages or heights, so children and adults come out the right size.
Mixing photos is normal: a recent photo of each person and a separate photo of the dog work together. Tell us which photo to use for each face, outfit and pet. The product page takes up to 10 photos (12 MB each, JPG, PNG or WebP); if you prefer, order first and reply to your confirmation email with the extras, and we wait for them before we start. No group shot where everyone looks good? That is fine: send a clear photo of each person instead.
Arranging the group
Who stands at the centre, who sits behind, how much taller the adults are and where the pet goes are all settled before the figure is finished. For 3D, we sculpt the heads first and send you photos; once they are right, we make the hair and bodies and arrange everyone on one base, then send you photos of the finished figure before it ships. Tell us the arrangement early, because moving a character afterwards means resculpting the base under them. For brick, the digital proof shows everyone in place, and you can swap positions or change heights before anything is built.
Timing and delivery
Every figure is made to order. After you approve, it takes 8–12 days to make, shipping is free, and most US orders arrive 20–25 days after we have your photos. For a birthday, a reunion or a holiday, contact us before ordering so we can check the schedule with you.
