A framed brick portrait needs a display location suited to the frame's dimensions, weight and intended support method. Treat the frame, photograph and character as one complete object.
Check the intended format
Confirm whether the frame is designed to hang, stand or do both. Identify any supplied hardware and follow the manufacturer's instructions rather than improvising a support from the frame's decorative edges.
For wall mounting, use an arrangement suitable for the wall and the complete object's weight. If you are unsure about fixings or installation, obtain appropriate help.
Measure depth and clearance
A shadow-box style frame can project farther from the wall than an ordinary flat photo frame. Check nearby doors, walkways and furniture before choosing the position.
On a shelf, make sure the base or stand is fully supported and cannot slide or fold unexpectedly. Leave enough room to lift the frame without pressing on its front panel.

Consider visibility and light
Place the portrait where its small character and printed photo can be seen comfortably. Strong reflections from windows or lamps can obscure the composition.
Follow the maker's guidance about sunlight, heat and moisture. A glass or clear front does not automatically protect the photograph, adhesive and brick components from all environmental effects.
Clean the exterior with care
Use the frame manufacturer's recommended method and prevent liquid from entering the display. Do not spray cleaner directly into joints or assume the internal character is removable.
If dust appears inside, ask how the frame is meant to open before forcing the backing. Some products may be assembled as a fixed keepsake rather than a frame intended for frequent rearrangement.
Our framed versus freestanding comparison helps choose the format before ordering. A well-placed frame lets the image and character work together without creating a difficult-to-clean or easily knocked display.
