Material

Polymer clay , shaped by hand by a sculptor, then baked and finished: softer edges, a warmer handmade character, and no two are ever identical. Available at 10, 14 and 18 cm (4, 5.5 and 7 in).

Which size

10 cm (4 in) is the usual gift size and the one most people choose. 14 cm (5.5 in) has real shelf presence. 18 cm (7 in) is a centrepiece.

The head

Spring-mounted, so it nods when you tap it or when the shelf gets bumped. Bobblehead or standard figure is your choice on the order form, and the price is the same either way.

How it works

Add your photos on this page (up to 10), or check out first and email them to hello@voxelpals.com. Your figure is sculpted by hand from the start: you see photos of the face first (usually within 3–4 days of receiving your photo), then the finished figure before it ships. You can cancel for a full refund before the sculptor starts; once we have confirmed your order and sculpting has begun, it can’t be refunded for a change of mind. If it arrives damaged or isn’t what you approved, we remake it or refund you. Free worldwide shipping with no minimum spend; most US orders arrive 20–25 days after we have your photo.

Sending more than one photo

The upload here takes a single image, and one photo with everyone in it works best. If you would rather send a separate shot of each person, order first and reply to your confirmation email with the extras. We wait for them before we start.

Props

Small handheld things (a bouquet, a book, a coffee cup, a football) are included free. Larger pieces like a scene base, a motorbike or a car are modelled from scratch and quoted per piece; we email you the price before anything is charged, and nothing extra is taken at checkout.

Figure only, packed to survive the post. Add premium gift packaging if it is going straight to someone.

Worth knowing

This is a sculpted, stylised interpretation of your photo, not a scan and not a portrait replica. The likeness comes from hair, outfit, colours and pose. You get photos at every step, so there are no surprises. Prices include import duties for the US, and VAT and import duties for Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. For other countries, import duties and taxes are handled by our shipping partner.

Can I send several photos (face, outfit, props)?

Yes. Upload several photos or send them by email after you order, and tell us which photo to use for the face, the outfit and any props.

Can you add props?

Yes. Small hand-held props are free. For larger props such as a bike or a car, please contact us first so we can confirm.

What's the largest size you make?

Our standard sizes go up to 18 cm for people, 10 cm for dogs and 8 cm for cats. Larger sizes (for example 35 cm) can be made as a custom order: contact us or email hello@voxelpals.com.

Scale is what makes it a pair

The pet is sculpted against your height rather than at its own true scale, because that is what makes the two read as one piece instead of two objects sharing a base. Breed silhouette, coat pattern and the face it actually makes are matched from your photo.
