How long does it take to make a custom figurine?
Your order has three stages: design, building after approval, and delivery. The first thing you receive depends on which style you choose.

For Christmas Brick Figures, nothing is built until you approve the digital proof. For 3D figures, you receive photos at every step, with changes on request: we sculpt the head first, then make the hair and body once the head is right, and send photos of the finished figure.
Most US orders arrive in 20–25 days end to end. Treat that as a planning estimate, not a guaranteed arrival window.

These are last order dates, not delivery promises. Send your photo when you order rather than treating the cutoff as a way to reserve production time without it. For the UK, Canada, and other countries without a published holiday date, ask about your destination before ordering.
Why does the delivery clock start when you send the photo?
Your figure is made from your photo, so checkout alone does not give us what we need to begin. If you order today but send your photo later, delivery timing starts from the day we have the photo—not today.
You can upload up to 10 photos on the product page, each up to 12 MB, in JPG, PNG, or WebP format. You can also order first and email your photo to hello@voxelpals.com.
For a group design such as Custom Christmas Figurines — Two People, separate photos are fine. You do not need to find one perfect shared picture: send a clear photo of each person, identify who is who, and explain the arrangement you want.
What can delay a custom figurine before Christmas?
The main things that can move your arrival date are a late photo, a slow approval response, extra rounds of changes, customs inspections, and the peak weeks before Christmas.
Approval time matters because the 8–12-day build stage begins after approval. If you leave a brick proof unanswered or are still requesting changes, your schedule moves with that decision.
Customs inspections and seasonal shipping pressure can add several days. Shipping is free, tracked standard shipping worldwide, with no minimum spend, but there is no express shipping option. Do not plan around upgrading delivery later to recover lost time.
How can you give your figurine the best chance of arriving on time?
- Tell us your needed-by date before ordering. If timing is tight, email hello@voxelpals.com so we can confirm honestly whether it is achievable.
- Send your photo with your order. Choose a clear, well-lit image with the face visible.
- Set out your choices together. Identify each person and explain the arrangement rather than leaving those decisions for later.
- Respond promptly to approval requests. Check the details carefully and collect your requested changes into one clear message.
- Consider shipping directly to your recipient. Enter their address at checkout; approval photos still come to you, keeping the gift a surprise.

Can a custom figurine arrive before Christmas if you order late?
Orders are still accepted after each cutoff, but they may arrive after the holiday. Contact us before paying if Christmas arrival is essential; we cannot promise holiday delivery.
If your date cannot be met, a practical alternative is to give a personal card on Christmas explaining that your custom gift will follow. That lets you keep the personalized gift without relying on an arrival date we cannot confirm.
