Before you upload

The photo does half the work

Your figure is built from what we can actually see. Two minutes picking the right picture is the difference between “that is them” and “close enough”.

Send us this

Any phone from the last ten years is plenty. What matters is the light and the angle, not the megapixels.

Face the camera
Straight on, or a gentle three-quarter turn. The likeness is built from the face, so we need to see all of it.
Find flat daylight
Next to a window, or outside in the shade. Even light is what tells us hair colour, skin tone and the shape of a smile.
One person per figure
Crop to whoever is being built. For a duo or a crew, send one good photo of each — they do not have to be from the same day.

These make it hard

None of these are a refusal — they just cost you a round of questions before we can start.

Light behind the head
A window or the sun behind someone turns the face into a silhouette. There is nothing left in there for us to read.
A covered face
Sunglasses, a low cap or a mask hide exactly the details that make someone recognisable. Put them in the order notes instead and we will add them back.
A crowd, or standing far away
A small face in a wide group shot has nothing left once we zoom in. Closer always beats higher resolution.

Only have one photo and it is not perfect? Send it anyway. We will look at it and tell you honestly what we can get from it before anything is built. Ask the studio first

Your call, not ours

What you get to choose

Everything here goes on the order form in your own words, comes back to you on the design, and can still be changed after you see it. Nothing is a paid extra unless the product page says so.

The outfit

Copy what they are wearing in the photo, or ask for something else — the wedding dress, the team kit, the lab coat.

Hair, glasses, beard

Colour, length, a fringe, a moustache, the glasses they never take off. This is where the likeness actually lives.

How many figures

One, two, four, or the whole household — arranged on a single base so it reads as one scene.

The pets

Same breed silhouette, same markings, same faintly unimpressed expression, built to the right scale beside you.

Something to hold

A bouquet, a football, a coffee cup, a guitar. Props are what turn a figure into a story.

The occasion

Graduation, a wedding, a first day, a birthday. Say what the moment was and we dress the whole scene for it.

A vehicle

The car, the van, the first bike — rebuilt in brick and parked next to whoever drives it.

Framed or free-standing

Keep it open on a shelf, or have the scene mounted in a wall frame with a printed backdrop.

The approval round

Nothing gets built until you say yes

You see it before it exists: Your design arrives by email in 2–3 days as a single front-facing build image. Brick figures are assembled from a fixed catalogue of parts, so there is no model to spin — the front view is the view the piece is designed around, and it shows the exact hair, outfit, colours and props before a single piece is placed.
Three rounds of revisions, included: Different hair, a different outfit, a different pose, a prop swapped out — three rounds are included at no charge. If you need a fourth we will talk it through rather than leave you with something you are not happy with.
Your approval is what starts production: Not your payment, not the clock. The first piece is only touched after you reply that you are happy — until then your order is a conversation.
If it cannot be done justice, we say so: If your photo will not give a confident likeness, we tell you before anything is made rather than shipping something that is nearly right.

Once you approve, assembly starts. Every piece is placed and checked by hand, not by a machine.

Checked and boxed
A second pair of eyes on the likeness and the finish, then it is packed for the journey and handed to the carrier.
Day12–16
On your doorstep
Free tracked shipping worldwide — most orders arrive 12–16 days end to end, counted from the day you upload.

Printed in resin, cleaned up by hand, painted by hand, sealed matte. The parts a machine cannot do are the parts we do slowly.
