Ordering & proofs
How long does it take?
Your first proof arrives in 2–3 days. Once you approve it, making takes 3–5 days and tracked delivery another 4–7. Most 3D orders arrive 12–16 days end to end, counted from the day you upload rather than the day you approve. Brick figures pass through one extra pair of hands and usually take 15–19.
What kind of photo should I send?
One clear, well-lit photo with the face visible is perfect. Front-facing or a gentle three-quarter view works best.
Do I see it before production?
Yes. You approve the exact design or sculpt first. Nothing enters production until you are happy.
What does the proof actually look like?
For a 3D figure, a render of the real 3D model, sent front, side and back — your figure genuinely is modelled in 3D before anything is printed, so if there is another angle you care about, ask and we will render it. For a brick figure, a single front-facing build image: brick characters are assembled from a fixed catalogue of parts, so there is no model to spin, and the front view is the view the piece is designed around. Either way you see the exact hair, outfit, colours and props before a single piece is made.
How many revisions do I get?
Three rounds, included in the price. Each round is a full pass — send as many notes as you like in one go, and we redo the proof. Different hair, a different outfit, a different pose, a prop swapped out: it all counts as one round. If you still are not there after three, we will talk it through rather than leave you with something you are not happy with, and you can always cancel for a full refund instead.
Can I cancel after ordering?
Yes. Any time before you approve the proof, for any reason, and we refund you in full — no restocking fee, no part refund, no questions. Once you approve, we start buying materials and making, so from that point the order can no longer be cancelled.
Can I send it straight to the person it’s for?
Yes — enter their address at checkout and add a gift message on the product page. It arrives ready to open.
Customisation
Can I choose the hair, outfit and details?
Yes. Tell us which hairstyle, colour, outfit, pose or accessory makes the person unmistakable.
Can you make couples and families?
Absolutely. Choose a duo or crew and tell us how the people and pets belong together.
Can you make pets?
Yes. Breed silhouette, ears, tail, markings and favourite pose all help us capture their personality.
Can you add props and accessories?
Small handheld props — a bouquet, a book, a coffee cup, a football — are included free on 3D figures. Larger pieces such as a scene base, a motorbike or a car are modelled from scratch, so we quote them per piece: pick one on the product page and we will email you the price before anything is charged. Nothing extra is taken at checkout.
My photo is old or a little blurry — will it work?
Often, yes. Send the best one you have; if we cannot get a confident likeness from it we will tell you honestly before anything is built, and you lose nothing.
Materials, sizes & bulk
Will it look exactly like my photo?
It is a hand-built, stylised interpretation — not a scan. The likeness comes from hair, outfit, colours and pose, and you approve the digital proof before anything is built.
What are the figures made from?
Brick figures use a small number of broad, smooth ABS-like pieces. 3D figures come in your choice of two materials. Resin is cast from a mould taken off the approved sculpt and then hand-painted: it holds the finest detail and has a smooth, polished surface. Polymer clay is shaped by hand by a sculptor, then baked and finished: softer edges, a warmer handmade character, and no two are ever quite identical.
Which size should I choose?
6cm sits on a desk beside a monitor. 8–10cm is the usual gift size and what most people pick. 15cm has real shelf presence and is where faces start to carry proper detail. 20cm is a centrepiece. Polymer clay is hand-sculpted between 8cm and 15cm; resin runs the full 6–20cm range. One thing worth knowing: from 15cm up, the bobble head costs nothing extra.
Do you do wedding favours, corporate gifts or bulk orders?
Yes, and the price turns on one thing: whether you need many copies of the same figure, or one figure each for many different people. Many copies of one figure — wedding favours of the couple, a team mascot, an event giveaway — is where the real savings are: in resin the sculpt and the mould are made once, so every copy after the first costs a fraction of the original, and at 50 or more the unit price lands around a third of a one-off. Different people, one each — a team, a class, a family reunion — means a separate sculpt and a separate mould for every person, so the price stays close to single-unit. We would rather say that up front than surprise you, and we will still look after you as a large customer: get in touch and we will sort out a discount code before you order. One note on polymer clay: it is shaped by hand from scratch every time, so there is no mould to reuse and the hundredth piece takes a sculptor almost as long as the first. We do offer volume pricing on clay, but expect roughly 10–25% rather than the steep tiers resin can reach.
Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide — free and tracked, no minimum spend. Where your country charges import duties, they are collected on delivery and are the recipient’s responsibility.
What if something is wrong?
If it arrives damaged, defective or different from the proof you approved, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will remake it free or refund you in full.
Will I pay import duties?
Shipping itself is free. Where your country charges import duties or taxes, they are collected by the carrier on delivery and are the recipient’s responsibility — most orders at our price point clear without charges, but rules vary by country.
How is it packed?
Every figure ships in clean protective packaging. A premium gift box or a dust-proof acrylic display case can be added on the product page — the exact price is shown there, because it differs between the Brick and 3D lines.
Is it a toy?
It is a display keepsake, assembled from small parts — great on a shelf or desk, not suitable for children under three.
